Himachal Mulled Cider Recipe

 

MULLED CIDER RECIPE

 

Ingredients– serves 2

1 Bottle of Himachal premium Indian cider

A few cloves

2 cinnamon sticks

3 allspice berries

1 star anise

Small jar of honey 28g

 

Optional Ingredients

1 small apple & 1 satsuma (recommended)

Further honey or brown sugar – add to taste

 

Directions

Place all of the ingredients in to a large saucepan

Add any optional ingredients

Simmer gently for 20+ minutes, the flavour will intensify the longer it simmers

Ladle in to glass mugs/Kilner jars or ordinary mugs and garnish if desired with a slice of apple

Serve and enjoy.
